Before you create an account

Use your email to sign in, verify your account and recover access. Signed-in Practice and Check summaries can sync to your account. Learn progress and Write drafts stay in this browser; they do not automatically sync between devices.

Rankings are optional and require a separate choice. You can continue practising as a guest without an account. TypeStride is not an official IELTS service and does not predict your IELTS band.

When you create an account, we record the two confirmations below, the versions and hashes of these notices, and the server time against your internal account ID. These confirmations do not sign you up for marketing, research participation or public rankings. You can view and export the record; it is removed when the live account is deleted. Backup copies have separate retention.
